Return and Refund Policy

Thank you for choosing British Speedworks. This Return and Refund Policy explains our general policies regarding purchases, services, digital products, and other items that may be offered through our website or business.

Services

Because tuning, calibration, diagnostic, consulting, and other automotive services involve time and labor, payments for completed services are generally non-refundable.

If you believe there is an issue with a service we provided, please contact us as soon as possible. We will make a reasonable effort to review the issue and determine whether revisions, corrections, or other remedies are appropriate.

Digital Products and Files

Digital products, including tuning files, calibration files, downloadable files, software-related products, or other electronically delivered materials, are generally non-refundable once delivered or made available to the customer.

Refunds may be considered at our discretion if a digital product has not yet been delivered or if we are unable to provide the purchased product or service.

Custom or Vehicle-Specific Products

Custom tuning files, calibrations, programming, or other products prepared specifically for a particular customer or vehicle are considered custom products and are generally not eligible for return or refund once work has begun.

Customers are responsible for providing accurate vehicle information, including year, make, model, engine, modifications, ECU information, and any other requested information.

Physical Products

If we offer physical products, unused and unopened products may be eligible for return within 30 days of delivery unless otherwise stated at the time of purchase.

Returned items must generally be:

• In their original condition
• Unused and undamaged
• In the original packaging, when applicable
• Accompanied by proof of purchase

Shipping charges are generally non-refundable unless the return is due to an error on our part.

The customer may be responsible for return shipping costs.

Non-Returnable Items

Unless otherwise required by law, the following items may not be eligible for return or refund:

• Custom or personalized products
• Custom tuning or calibration files
• Digital products that have already been delivered
• Services that have already been performed
• Products damaged through misuse, improper installation, modification, or neglect
• Special-order items
• Clearance or final-sale items when identified as such

Cancellations

Orders or services may be canceled before work has begun or before an item has shipped.

If work has already begun on a custom service or tuning file, we may deduct the value of work already performed from any refund.

Refund Processing

Approved refunds will generally be issued to the original payment method.

Processing times may vary depending on the payment provider, bank, or financial institution.

Compatibility and Vehicle Condition

Customers are responsible for ensuring that their vehicle is mechanically sound and suitable for the products or services requested.

A refund will not normally be issued for problems resulting from pre-existing mechanical issues, undisclosed modifications, improper installation, incompatible third-party components, or changes made to the vehicle after a product or service is provided.

Our Discretion

We reserve the right to evaluate refund and return requests on a case-by-case basis where circumstances are not specifically addressed by this policy.

Nothing in this policy is intended to limit any rights that cannot legally be waived under applicable law.
